This is a bit of a unique candy box since it’s in a cool pyramid shape. In this, you’ll need some construction paper, of two different colors, of course, a ruler, some scissors, and later on some candy and a hole punch.
What you want to do, is again create a 6×6 box, but then, you’ll want to punch and score every single side, and create a square in the middle, some triangles on the sides, and the edges are curved with one side of this.
From here, you take the template that you’ve created and proceed to use that with the actual paper that you have. Literally, line it up, cut it out, and make sure you properly score every single edge that you need to fold.
At this point, you should have a box that’s kind of in a weird star triangle shape, after you fold the curved edges, the triangles and then have a box. You then want to take the hole punch, and from there punch the top edge of the rounded curved triangle corners. AT this point, get the candy that you plan on putting gin there, and put it in the center of the box. You then thread the string through. Lightly pull it together (don’t go too hard, or you’ll rip the paper) and then bring the sides of the box together. From here, secure it with a ribbon, and then there you go! You’ll have a box that you can be proud of and something that you will indeed enjoy.
At this point, you’ll then have some notches and the person who receives the box can from there simply pull on the string and then pull the box apart. It’s great for those children who are a little too old for a basic candy box, and who need something that will indeed get them to create a much better more rewarding box that works for them.
You should make sure that the lines are cut at least one inch underneath the square, and don’t’ go any further than about an inch since that will, in turn, affect the quality of the box and make it look bad.
From there, you have a candy box. I like to do these with pairing the two different papers and the strings together. For example, since Halloween is coming up, I like to use purple and green, along with orange and black. You can also add some confetti and decorative stickers to these boxes. The pyramid design just add s a bit of a new feature to these, making it look even better than it did before. It will allow for you to have the best results possible and have it so that you’re getting the most that you can from this, and creates a wonderful piece that you can use.
With these types of boxes, you’ll be able to provide to others the wonderful gift of candy, and it is even in a cool box as well.
