While it may be a few months away, if you’re thinking of adding some cool candy boxes to your Halloween repertoire, it’s never too early to start these. Thee are a few ways that you can do this, and you’ll be able to create wonderful pieces.
It is incredibly versatile, and you only need a few things with this, and you just need a candy box punch board, and a bat and moon punch die in order to craft some wonderful pieces.
With this, you simply take your cardstock, and you take the moon die, and cut a big hole in the center of it.
You can use charcoal, white, goldenrod, and gray papers, and you simply add this on there.
You score the pieces about an inch apart, and from there, cut a moon straight in the middle. Take your diamond cut box die, and from there cut diamonds within every single section.
At this point, you literally just fold it up, and from there, you can die cut the bat shapes from the wood grain paper, and then put them right over the moon shapes, again using the foam squares.
At this point, you take the foam square and put it right under the cardstock, fold it up, and get some ribbon to tie off one end. Paste the bat right on top of the moon, near the circular portion of this, and from there, store your favorite Halloween candy in there! From there, you’ll be able to tie it off, and there you have it, a cute candy box that takes almost no time to make.
For the most part, you can use a six-inch piece of paper to create this, but some people may make the sides of this a bit bigger to accommodate the candy that they want to put in there. It really all depends, and if you really feel like adding a further personal touch to it, you can take some small golden jewels and from there attach them to the sides of the box, adding a decorative finish to it.
it’s a bit different from your traditional boxes, since all too often, they usually just use the orange and black motif, but yellow and gray adds a different touch to it, and it can make it look eerie, and also pretty cool.
These are some wonderful gifts, and you can get this for a neighbor, teacher, friend, or even for some trick or treaters. If you have the patience to make it, go for it. If you don’t have many trick or treaters, this might be a wonderful addition to your own personal repertoire.
