Chocolate Candy Boxes using Stamping Up!

Chocolate boxes are a great idea for a gift any time of the year, and they’re really not just for Christmas.  they’re great for birthdays, and also some popular holidays.  But, there is some great paper that you can use to make the prettiest chocolate box that you can, and Stampin’ Up is a great addition to this.  Here, we’ll talk a little bit about how to make this, and any other small factors that you should consider.

You need a 6×6 paper and make sure that it fits what you’re going to use with this.  What you want to do, is you can then trim the paper by about half an inch if needed if it’s big.  You need to use the paper so that it’s the wrong way up because you want the inner pattern that is the wrong way up to be inside.  What you want to do is score at the one and five and half cm mark and continue to score these for each half of an inch, and from there, you can score it all out for the sides.  What you want to do is fold on the score lines so that you have the one inch and the five-inch, smoothing this down.  it’ll create a box shape.  Fold it again for each scoreline so that it creates a set of creases.  When you fold it up, you’ll notice that it creates a box.

What you want to do is show where the score lines are light with a paper.  You essentially want to create little score lines for each inch, and then two at the half inches.  You want the bend these.

From there, start to trim the other side you didn’t mark up, and also create an oblique look, and cut this up on the other side of the score lines too.

Turn it over, and put the adhesive down on the score lines and from there, you’re going to stick each side together pushing it in, and it will slowly create a box.  you’ll notice that it is a rectangle.  For the lid, you’ll want to keep this mostly open, and then, you stuff the candies in there.  Once you do that, you can put a little notch for the ribbon in there.

At this point, close the box, wrapping the ribbon around it, and tie a nice little knot where the scoreline is.  You can from here, trim the ribbon edges, and add a gift tag as well with vanilla cardstock or a stamp on it too.  You can choose the color, and then push it on there in order to help make it the prettiest box that you can.

And that’s it! that’s all you need for a candy box, and it’s that simple that you won’t want to miss out on these. Chocolate boxes are a great addition, and many people like them, especially if you fill these out with their favorite chocolates too!
