Required Material
Most of the things required to create a fancy gift box are already available at home. You may require handmade paper, scissors, scale, cutter, ribbon, adhesive glue, pencils and decorative mirror.
Procedure
The first step is to remove the candy from the plastic container and paint the bottom of the lid with acrylic paint. After applying the first layer let it dry and apply second layer. Do this especially when you are using a light color. One can even paint inside of the box if preferred. The lid of the box can be decorated with a decorative paper after the paint has dried. If an official looking gift is required, the back of the box should also be decorated. Once the glue has dried out, put the candies in the box and we are all set.
Chocolate Cereal Truffles Ingredients
To make chocolate cereal truffle we need:
- 2 cups of crushed cereal
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 container of marshmallow cream
- 2 bags of white chocolate morsels
- Gel food coloring
- Sprinkles
How to Make?
Parchment paper is used to line the pan before making it. The first step is to melt the white chocolate morsels in a microwave oven for 30 seconds. Mix all the chocolate until it is completely melted down. In another big bowl, add the cereal, the condensed milk, marshmallow cream and melted white chocolate and stir it well. Once mixed thoroughly, pour the mixture into the pan and place the pan in the freezer. It should stay in the freezer until it is firm. It may take up to 3 hours in the freezer. When it is firm, take out and ladle out the mixture with a spoon and make it into balls. Put the balls in the freezer to make it firm. Use a cookie sheet to place the balls on. Now melt the second bag of chocolate morsels. Choose a food color that you like and add to the mixture. Take out the truffles from the freezer and drop each and every ball into the colored chocolate mixture and coat each side thoroughly and put them back on the cookie sheet. Sprinkles can be used to decorate the truffles.
